Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 7, 2026

JP Consulting & Media, LLC ("JPCM," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website located at jpconsultingmedia.com and its subdomains (the "Site").

Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site or submitting information through it, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

JPCM is a single-member limited liability company organized in Indiana, providing web development and broadcast media production services. We are the party responsible for the personal information collected through this Site.

You can reach us about this policy or your personal information at:

JP Consulting & Media, LLC 604 W Park Dr Columbia City, IN 46725 Email: privacy@jpconsultingmedia.com

2. Scope

This Site is intended for users located in the United States. We take reasonable steps to restrict access from outside the United States, and the Site is not directed to individuals in other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

Our contact form is optional. You are not required to fill it out to browse the Site. If you choose to submit the form, we collect the information you enter, which may include:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company name
  • ZIP code
  • The contents of your message in the "How can we help?" field
  • Any files you choose to upload (optional)

Because the message field and file uploads are free-form, please do not include sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information) in your submission. We do not need that information to respond to an inquiry.

Payment information (client billing portal)

If you are an existing client and you make a payment through our billing portal at books.jpconsultingmedia.com, your payment is processed by third-party providers (Zoho Books, Zoho Pay, and PayPal). Those providers collect and process your payment details directly. JPCM does not store your full payment card or bank account information. We may receive limited information such as your name and the fact that a payment was completed. Your use of those payment services is also governed by the privacy policies of the respective providers.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain technical information is collected automatically by the providers that host and secure it. This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the dates and times of access. This information is used for hosting, security, and spam prevention.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website or a service that runs on it. The following cookies may be set when you visit the Site:

We group these into two categories:

  • Security cookies are set by Cloudflare to verify visitors, protect the Site from bots and abuse, and operate the automated challenge on the contact form. These are necessary for the Site to function safely.
  • Functional cookies are set by the Zoho SalesIQ live chat widget and allow the chat to recognize your session while you are on the Site.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or analytics cookies. We use Google Search Console to understand how our pages appear in search results, which does not place any tracking cookies on your device.

Your cookie choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking security or functional cookies may cause parts of the Site, including the contact form and live chat, to stop working correctly.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Because the Site does not use analytics or advertising cookies, enabling DNT does not change what is collected during your visit.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you by email or phone about your request
  • Provide, perform, and bill for the services you request
  • Maintain business records of our communications and engagements
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
  • Comply with our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations

We do not use your contact form information to send marketing emails or newsletters, and we do not add you to any marketing list.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, and only to the extent needed for them to perform their services. These include:

  • Netlify (website hosting)
  • Cloudflare (content delivery, DNS, security, and the automated challenge on the contact form)
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365, which powers our business email through Outlook and Exchange Online; email correspondence with inquiry contacts is routed through Microsoft's servers)
  • Zoho (the Bigin customer relationship system that receives contact form submissions; the SalesIQ live chat widget; and the Books, Pay, and billing portal services used for client invoicing and payments)
  • PayPal (payment processing for client payments)

Each provider is authorized to use the information only to provide its services to us, subject to its own privacy policy. We understand that the data for our contact, chat, and billing services is processed in the United States.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of JPCM, our clients, or others.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain contact form submissions and the related contact details in our customer relationship system for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records, which may be on an indefinite basis unless you ask us to delete them.

Files you upload through the contact form are optional. We delete them once they are no longer needed for the purpose you submitted them.

You may ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@jpconsultingmedia.com, and we will honor reasonable requests unless we are required to keep the information for legal or accounting reasons.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS/SSL) provided through Cloudflare, and we rely on reputable service providers that maintain their own security measures. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live in the United States, you may contact us at privacy@jpconsultingmedia.com to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Request a copy of the information you provided to us
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information

We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Indiana residents

The Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act gives Indiana residents certain rights over their personal data, including the right to confirm whether their data is being processed, to access and obtain a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. That law applies only to businesses that meet specific size thresholds, and JPCM does not meet those thresholds. Even so, we voluntarily honor the core rights described in this section. To make a request, email privacy@jpconsultingmedia.com.

California residents

If you are a California resident, California law allows you to request the categories of personal information we have collected about you and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared it. The categories we collect are described in Section 3, and the providers we share with are listed in Section 6. We do not sell your personal information. To make a request, email privacy@jpconsultingmedia.com.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@jpconsultingmedia.com and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
